We prohibit content that glorifies abuse and physical violence. Examples of this could look like:

  • Celebrating a mass shooting
  • Praising abusers and perpretrators of violence

We reserve the right to warn or penalize users who we consider, at our discretion, to be violating this policy.

No glorification of violence. *Violence: encourages, incites, or celebrates act that directly physically harms people *Harms against marginalized people (race, gender, sexuality, class) subject to strictest scrutiny *Harms against dominant groups still subject to this rule, but must consider whether this is merely a change that feels like violence

We prohibit content that supports violence against individuals or groups of individuals.

This includes any content that condones violent crimes that have happened, or threats of future violent crimes.

We should NOT allow for the glorification of violence. Glorification Definition: (Yes: perpetuates more violence, No: brings awareness to said violence). Ex: (Yes: "x" school shooter should be set free, "y" deserved it, No: "x" school shooter was justified in their actions)

(Below, "violence" is defined as "behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone")

The following is prohibited:

  • Content that encourages its audience to perform violence
  • Content that portrays violence as good or desirable
  • Content that expresses a desire for violence to occur
